After you test an event and correct any issues, we strongly recommend that another member of your organization look at the event as well. A person with no prior knowledge about the event configuration will approach the registration like a typical visitor, and can identify problems that you may not have considered.
In general, testing event configuration requires completing the registration process several times both as a regular visitor to the web site and as an administrator. You should go through the registration process as many times as necessary to answer the following questions:
- If I enter or select correct information that meets the event’s requirements, does the registration work as expected?
- If I enter or select incorrect information or information that doesn’t meet the event’s requirements, do I see the right error messages and have the opportunity to correct my errors?
